The Scotty 4039-15FFA "Foam Factory" is a system that can transform any pressurized
fire hose or water supply line into a stand alone fire foam generating station.
A crew can arrive at an incident where a quick layer of foam is required,
a spill or haz-mat situation, attach a supply hose, place it where the foam is needed and adjust the water flow for the desired foam.
Depending on pressure and flow, the Foam Factory can make a "wet" or "dry" foam.
The unit can be left unattended to create a blanket of foam over avery large area.
The system consists of a 15gpm Scotty Foam Eductor factory set for either 1% for Class A foam or 3% for Class B foam, a Straight Stream-Fog Nozzle,
a D-Handle Shut-Off with swivel connector mounted on a 70mm cap and pick-up tube for a 20L Drum.
The eductor is designed for a nominal operating pressure of between 50 and 100psi.
The threads on the swivel connector on the Eductor are the standard, 1-1/2", NHT thread type.
The eductor, shut-off and base of the nozzle are made from glass-reinforced engineering grade nylon, making it extremely durable and resistant to corrosion.
The barrel of the nozzle is made from high-impact ABS polymer.
